The Youth of John Paul II was created to help us as teens grow in holiness together through prayer, service, and community. In a secular world, it is important to have a community that shares your values and can support you in deepening your relationship with God. Through praying and working together for God, we can foster that community.
We are so glad you are interested in joining the Youth of John Paul II! This is a great opportunity to grow closer to God, deepen your faith, and find a community within your parish. To get added to the email list and Google Chat, where the link for night prayer is sent, please email me at [email protected]
The group primarily functions using Google Chat. That is where all the minor announcements and discussions take place. If you are unable to access Google Chat, please let me know, and we can work something out.
We have T-shirts (designed by group members) for all members to wear. The suggested donation for the shirt is $15. If you can't pay it, that is completely understandable.
Night Prayer will happen every night. Since July 2nd, 2025, we have not missed a single night. However, very occasionally, on days like the monthly meeting, we may do it at a slightly different time. Please keep an eye on the chat.
Join us for the Liturgy of the Hours Night Prayer every night online. The meeting will be sent to Google Chat at 8:30, and prayer starts at 8:45. We would love to have you!
On the first Friday of every month, the Youth of JP2 meets. Starting with a meeting on group projects, then a fun group game, then Night Prayer together in the Adoration Chapel during Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

(It may take a few minutes to update the counter after a form is submitted.)
Each time a Youth of JPII member prays a rosary during Lent for the intention of all those far from the church and their conversion to God, it is logged in the form on the left. The goal is to pray 250 rosarys collectivly as a group for this intention.
Fasting Challenge:
Just like for the rosaries, all the Youth of JPII members chose something they would abstain from as a sacrifice for Lent. That way, we can fast together for the conversion of all those far from the church.
JPII Shirts!
Everyone who joins the Youth of John Paul II will receive a group shirt. Don't worry about the height; the shirts tend to be slightly long. Once you complete the form, please email [email protected] to confirm.
