The mission of the Basilica Heritage Board is to oversee, plan, and advise for greater love and appreciation of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul by evangelizing the people of Maine through Catholic Culture. 

Using all forms of art, literature, music, and education within the Catholic tradition, the goal is to develop and oversee the Catholic works of the Basilica ensuring that it is set up to serve the greater community for many years to come.
