Returns September 2025
Mondays | 6:30–8:00 PM
Holy Family Hall, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston
Led by Fr. Daniel Greenleaf | Begins September 2025
This fall, we begin a powerful new journey as a parish with Return, a practical and pastoral series by Brandon Vogt of Word on Fire Ministries.
If you have a son or daughter who no longer practices the faith… if your grandchildren are growing up without the sacraments… if you’ve ever wondered what you could say, do, or pray to help someone return to the Church—this is for you.
6.5 people leave the Catholic Church for every 1 person who enters.
Half of all young Catholics stop practicing their faith by age 23.
Return offers a step-by-step guide for drawing them back—with love, truth, and clarity.
Fr. Daniel will walk with us each week through this series during our Monday Night Catechesis, helping us not only learn the material but apply it directly to our families and relationships.

No registration is required for Monday nights—just come, bring your book, and be ready to grow. Whether you’re returning after a summer break or joining us for the first time, this is a powerful way to re-engage your faith and rediscover your role as a spiritual leader in your home.
The Return series isn’t just theory—it’s a hands-on, prayer-led process designed to help you understand your child’s spiritual situation and respond with clarity and love. Each week you’ll walk through meaningful questions that lead to practical insights.
Here’s what you’ll be invited to reflect on:
Why they drifted: spiritual needs, wounds, doubts, or misunderstanding?
What stage of spiritual openness they may be in (the “thresholds” of conversion)
Which type of non-practicing Catholic they are: shrugger, switcher, skeptic, etc.
What is your personal prayer and fasting commitment for your child?
Do you truly understand and live the Catholic faith yourself?
How can you grow in gentleness, clarity, and patience through the Holy Spirit?
What does success really look like in your child’s return to faith?
How can you lovingly affirm your unconditional love for them?
How do you approach difficult topics like morality, Church teaching, or suffering?
What questions can you ask that plant seeds—without pressure?
What resources, communities, or mentors can you introduce them to?
How do you close the loop with trust and perseverance, even when answers don’t come quickly?
Whether your child left decades ago or last week, God can still reach them. And He may be choosing to begin that work through you.
