Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary

Please note that August 15 is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year.

The only Mass for those making or renewing their Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary will be held on:

Saturday, August 15, at 8:30 a.m.

Following Mass, Fr. Dan will lead us in the Act of Consecration. Printed copies of the consecration prayer will be provided for everyone to read and sign.

On the day of your consecration, you are encouraged to:

• Fast, give alms, or offer a votive candle for the good of another (or all three).
• Perform an act of spiritual penance and approach your consecration with a spirit of mortification.
• Receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on the day of consecration, or within the eight days prior if that is not possible.
• Receive Holy Communion with the intention of giving yourself completely to Jesus, as a slave of love, through the hands of Mary.
• If possible, receive Holy Communion according to the method described in the Supplement of True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

We look forward to sharing this special day of prayer and devotion with all who are making or renewing their Total Consecration.

There will be a small gathering immediately following the Consecration at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish Center. All are warmly invited to join us.
