Summer Update on Formation Opportunities
As summer winds down, we’ve been quietly preparing for fall. Registration is now open for our Sacramental Preparation program. If you have a child or grandchild entering 1st or 2nd grade, now is the time to sign them up for this two-year journey toward Confirmation and First Communion.
This year, children’s formation will be offered before Mass at all three churches: Holy Trinity (grades 1–6), Holy Family (grades 1–4), and the Basilica (grades 1–2). For our youngest members, Making Music, Praying Twice returns in October.
Plans are also underway for the return of Called and Edge ministries for high school and middle school students. In addition, a new Faith and Family Commission is forming to help support parents in living out the Domestic Church with the help of parish life.
You may have seen the orange “Becoming Catholic” cards in the pews. These are simple invitations you can take and share. Our team is available every Wednesday evening at Holy Family Church to meet with anyone exploring the Catholic faith.
Faith is not merely the passing on of facts or rules—it is an encounter with the Living God: through his Word, through the Sacraments, and through the people he calls into his Church. If you haven’t yet taken a step to deepen your own faith, we encourage you to visit our website or give us a call. We’re here to walk with you.
